Peace Through Strength

0

This concept may sound foreign to Christians, but let me tell you, it shouldn’t. The peace that we have comes through Jesus Christ. His peace is the peace that is beyond all understanding. If you haven’t tasted that peace, you should. There’s nothing like it on this earth. It’s an amazing place to be, and an amazing place to live from. Yes, I said an amazing place to live from.

Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

The place of peace I am referring to is in the spirit. Peace is a fruit of living in the spirit. If we live from the spirit, we should walk in the spirit. Jesus is in the spirit. When He spoke, His words are spirit and they are life. Our goal is to be one with him in spirit. From the spirit is where we get our strength. It’s through Jesus in us that we obtain peace through strength. That’s why Paul wrote, “It’s no longer I who live, but Christ in me.” If Christ is in you, then you live through Him. As everything is from Him, through Him, and to Him are all things. Paul also wrote, “Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might.” We can’t do what He has called us to do in our strength, we will just fall on our faces. And yet, He has allowed us to reveal this great mystery that has been hidden throughout the ages. That is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Colossians 1:26 the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. 27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

We, as Christians, need to learn to live from this place of strength. It’s not meant to beat up on people, but instead, lift them into a higher place so we can all walk together with Christ. We teach others not to live from the weakness of their flesh, but rather, live from the strength of the spirit. As we grow in the spirit, this will affect others all around when they see your tenacity for Christ. It’s your strength, and faith, in Christ that will move mountains. A mustard seed is small to the eye, but it is one of the strangest seeds on the planet. The mustard seed can grow in desert-like conditions. It’s that strong. So when you become strong with Jesus in the spirit, nothing will be impossible for you. Be blessed, my friends.

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Romans 1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
