The power that you have inside you can change the entire world. Jesus, Paul and all the disciples changed the world. They all understood that it wasn’t about them. It was all about who is inside you. Jesus walked on this earth with Father. Do you think it was Jesus doing the miracles? It wasn’t Him, but Father doing it through Him. Jesus taught His disciples this, and we are to do the same.
Acts 17:4 And some of them were persuaded; and a great multitude of the devout Greeks, and not a few of the leading women, joined Paul and Silas. 5 But the Jews who were not persuaded, becoming envious, took some of the evil men from the marketplace, and gathering a mob, set all the city in an uproar and attacked the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. 6 But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” 8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
I hope you understand . By denying yourself, Jesus can work through you. Picking up your cross has nothing to do with punishment. If you are born again you have already died. Picking up you cross is what Jesus has left behind for you to pick up, His righteousness. Putting on His righteousness is like putting on the armor of God, or armor of light. This way you can stand against the thoughts of the evil one. The only weapon we have is the sword of the spirit. You have to be in the spirit to use it. The devil tried to uses the sword of the spirit against Jesus, but that didn’t work out to well for him. The Word of God is Jesus who is alive and active sharper than a two edged sword. The more you deny yourself, the more Jesus can work through you in the spirit.
Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.
The only way to have the power of God is to plug into the power source. If you aren’t one with Jesus and living as one with Him, how do you plug into His power/authority? Don’t look at this for personal gain. You won’t operate in His power/authority if you do. To live this life with Jesus, you first have to do it by faith. Live by faith is the ultimate to operating in His power/authority. Not knowing if you have enough for you next __________. You fill in the blank. If you trust Him, you will live by Him. You have everything you will ever need inside you. All you have to learn is to trust and access the Kingdom of God. Be blessed my friends
