As the Lord has been showing me many truths in the scriptures, those truths contradict what most churches teach. If you try to explain yourself, these religious people will defend sin with everything they know. It’s like they want to keep sin, but the benefit of going to heaven. Well, that’s impossible. Jesus came to remove sin so you can be in Him and walk with Him as He did with Father. It’s a love relationship. “ This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, THAT CHRIST JESUS, CAME INTO THE WORLD TO SAVE SINNERS, of whom I am chief. However, FOR THIS REASON, I OBTAINED MERCY, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.” “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Here is something to think about. If you sin, you are sinning against God, who you say you love. “There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Joseph wouldn’t sin against God, but when David sinned, the lord put away his sin. “So David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the LORD.” And Nathan said to David, “The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die.” Jesus explained sin in the parable of the prodigal son. When the son sinned it wasn’t just against his father, but against heaven, against his heavenly Father. He asked for mercy and obtained it. “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘FATHER, I HAVE SINNED AGAINST HEAVEN AND IN YOUR SIGHT, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. ‘And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; ‘for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.” Sadly, churchgoers believe that because they are in the flesh they are sinners and have no way out. They have not shared the good news that there is a way out. Paul explained it this way. “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” Paul also wrote to the Romans about living in the spirit as well. “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

I pray that your eyes of understanding be enlightened as to why Christians can’t get passed sin. I pray that you are free from his power. The father of sin is the devil. “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” Be blessed, my friends.
