Who do you trust? When something like sickness or any situation that comes against your life, where do you run to? This is what you put your trust in. If you are sick, do you run to get medicine or to the hospital? Then this proves you trust in that. If your employer is what you believe supplies all the money you need to live, then you trust them for this. Notice a pattern here? If you are having marital problems, do you run to a doctor or pastor? Have you picked up what I am laying down yet?
Notice that NOT ONCE did I mention about running to God? Many will use excuses like, well God created doctors. So it is better to go to what God created rather than the Creator Himself? Interesting that God created Adam and he fell from God so we are to run to fallen man? Others will use another excuse that God created the earth so we get our healing from what the earth has to offer. Genesis 3:17 Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’: “Cursed is the ground for your sake;
In toil you shall eat of it
All the days of your life.
If you truly love God, then you will trust Him with everything. If you can’t trust Him with everything, then do you really love Him at all? Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. 8 It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.
