The Thorn in the Flesh

After watching that video you will now understand why Paul said 2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, â€śMy grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

If you can rejoice through every situation that is thrown at you. If you can get your eye off the situation and on Jesus, Your house that He is building becomes stronger and stronger. Matthew 7:24 â€śTherefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26 â€śBut everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” 28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, 29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Here is a video on how Jesus reacted to His cousin, John the Baptist, having his head chopped off.

I hope you now understand that when you are confessing that you are a sinner, you are empowering sin in your life. Sin is not to have dominion over you. Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Even the Michael understands this Jude 1:8 Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, â€śThe Lord rebuke you!
