Of all the things Jesus taught about, the Kingdom was the primary thing He came to teach. You don’t hear too much today about people teaching regarding the Kingdom. Even after passing away and coming back, Jesus still taught His disciples regarding the Kingdom for 40 days. Interesting that Jesus was teaching the Kingdom in the beginning of the book of the Acts of the Apostles, and Paul was teaching regarding the Kingdom at the end of the book of Acts.

Acts 1:1 The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.

Acts 28:30 Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, 31 preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him.

Unless you learn and experience the ways of the Kingdom, how will you ever explain it. Jesus taught to love our enemies which is contrary to what this world teaches. We are also taught not to get our hopes up, but the scriptures tell us to put our hope in Jesus. These are just a few examples of the difference between the Kingdom and this world. This is why in the early church they were called Christians. They lived differently than what this world teaches. Our lives are to be an epistle for everyone to read. What is your life saying?

Matthew 5:43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 3:2 You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all menclearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.

Living from the Kingdom really takes the burden off yourself. It’s not what you can do for the Kingdom, but the Kingdom is doing for you. This is our testimony that bring glory to God. If you want to be in the Kingdom, you have the opportunity to live from their now. In the Lord’s prayer, Jesus taught His disciples, “On earth as it is in heaven.” What a great opportunity for the body of Christ to show the world what the kingdom is like. If you aren’t living from the Kingdom how can you ever explain it. Paul wrote in Romans, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Living by faith in the One you love is the greatest worship anyone can ever have. Laying your life down for a friend Named Jesus is the ultimate love you can have for Him. Be blessed my friends.

Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable serviceAnd do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
