“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” Have you been searching out a matter? “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Have you been seeking the Kingdom of God and Jesus’s Righteousness? The glory of God is that He is good. “And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” Then He said, “I will make all MY GOODNESS pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”
Have you not tasted the goodness of God? “Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?” So if it’s the goodness of God that led you to repent, why not live by that repentance? “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, AND DO WORKS BEFITTING OF REPENTANCE.” Some churches teach that we don’t have to do any work because we are not saved by works. That is true, but they leave out that you have been saved for good works. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. FOR WE ARE HIS WORKMANSHIP, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS FOR GOOD WORKS, WHICH GOD PREPARED BEFOREHAND THAT WE SHOULD WALK IN THEM.” The works befitting repentance is doing good, regardless of what is done to you. “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, DO GOOD to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that YOU MAY BE SONS OF YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” Peter preached about Jesus’s good works. “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about DOING GOOD and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” It’s the goodness of God that He has removed your sins so you can walk in the light as He is in the light. “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” Walking in the light as He is in the light, and you are bearing fruit worthy of repentance, then you must bear fruit of the light. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE BEFORE MEN, THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS AND GLORIFY YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN.” “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light FOR THE FRUIT OF THE LIGHT IS IN ALL GOODNESS, RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND TRUTH.”
I pray that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened to the glory of God. As you walk bearing “FRUIT OF LIGHT,” preaching the goodness of God and His righteousness. “Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” “Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
