Seek First The Kingdom

Jesus told His disciples in the sermon on the mount to first seek the Kingdom and His righteousness and all will be given to them. Do you believe this? Are you seeking the Kingdom? Let your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Where do you think the Kingdom is? Don’t look here, or don’t look there, for the Kingdom of heaven is within you. This is the great treasure, Christ in you the hope of glory.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Luke 17:20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

Colossians 1:27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

My question to you is this. If the Kingdom is within you like a great pearl, why would you live from your flesh rather than the Kingdom with you? Many don’t see the irony in this. You have the Kingdom within you wanting to come out. Christ wants you to live through Him, and yet many bury their head in the sand, hiding the kingdom and living from their flesh. Sadly, many churches teach that the attendees are sinners. They can’t see past the flesh to live in the spirit, not realizing that this is done by faith. The righteous shall live by faith. These are those who understand that to live from the spirit, you live by faith. They that live by faith it will be counted for righteousness.

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

I hope and pray that many of you will begin to live by faith. Your flesh will hate it. Once you have overcome this, you will understand that Jesus overcame the world. Be blessed, my friends

Galatians 5:16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
