Scepter Of Righteousness

0

Many Christians don’t know that the Kingdom of God is righteousness. You may have figured out why satan was thrown out of heaven. What he was trying to accomplish was neither good nor right. God knows the difference between good and evil. Understandably He said that Adam and Eve are just like Him knowing the difference between good and evil. It took evil for men to understand it. Since then, most men have chosen evil over good. There is only one who is good and that is God. Jesus went around doing good. Today men have this backward. They call what is good evil, and what is evil good.

Psalms 45:6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
You love righteousness and hate wickedness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.

Genesis 3:22 Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”—

Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

If we are going to learn to live on earth as it is in heaven, then we need to learn to live by what is good and right. This is not a new concept like a new covenant thing. Rather, God has told His people throughout the centuries to do what is good and right. He even told Cain before Cain killed his brother Abel. It’s all about lifestyle on how you live. You can either have it your way or Yahweh. You get to choose and from that choice, you will have to answer to God for it. You can confess that Jesus is Lord, but if you don’t live unto righteousness from your heart, then you don’t believe.

Genesis 4:6 So the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.

Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Living in righteousness is the best place to live. It’s not your righteousness that you are living by, but Jesus’. What do you think you are to pick up when you pick up your cross and follow Him? It’s not about you because you have already denied yourself. Who do you think is in you? If Christ is in you, His righteousness is in you as well. It’s from Christ in you that is the hope of glory. It’s from that hope that you will live unto righteousness for His Name’s sake. Living for yourself is tiring, heavy, and downright exhausting. On the other hand, living through Christ is life and peace. The peace that is beyond all understanding. Living through Christ we bring the gospel of peace. The peace between man and God as an ambassador. Everywhere we go, we preach the Kingdom of heaven is at hand. The peace of God is here. By doing this, Christ gets to heal the sick, cast out demons, cleanse the leper, and raise the dead. Freely we received the Kingdom, freely we give it. Be blessed, my friends

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
