Satan accuses regarding us day and night that we love our lives more than we love God. Job 2:4 So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life. 5 But stretch out Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will surely curse You to Your face!” 6 And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.” Do you see this playing out today? How many so-called followers of Jesus are lining up for a vaccine? Do you see how fear works against you? How do you overcome the enemy? Revelation 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”
We are in a spiritual war and if this pandemic hasn’t opened your eyes to this, soon it will. This event is a shaking of the wheat and tares. How many will have faith in God or faith in a vaccine? I hear many so-called christians say that God created doctors. If this is true, I don’t see this in the Bible. I see God creates disciples. But I do see that the god of this world creates doctors to lead people’s faith away from Jesus and place it on doctors. Do you ever notice that once you place your faith in a doctor, things always seem to get worse for you? It gets to a point where the doctors can’t do anything for you. This happened to the woman with the issue of blood. Luke 8:43 Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, 44 came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped. 45 And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ” 46 But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” 47 Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately. 48 And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” Do you see how important your faith is in Jesus? When you pray, do you see anything ever happen? When the disciples prayed for the young boy and he wasn’t healed, look how the Lord responded. Where is your faith? Luke 8:22 Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out. 23 But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. 24 And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 But He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”
This blog isn’t about condemnation regarding what is going on, but it is to open your eyes to see how the thief steals your faith and is undressing you from your armor. If your faith isn’t strong in the Lord and the power of His might, then you might want to reassess what you put your faith in. As you put your faith in things other than jesus, your shield gets weaker and weaker. Everyone is at a different place in this walk, but we are all to grow up into Jesus. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. Luke 18:6 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
