That particular scripture tramples on the very teaching that we are all sinners because we are flesh beings. It still boggles my mind that this teaching is still prominent in some church circles. How are you ever going to deny yourself if you still believe and are walking in sin? This may sound harsh, but the church needs to awaken to righteousness from her sleep.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Let me see now? If you are in the flesh, you can’t please God and without faith it’s impossible to please Him; Are those who are in the flesh have no faith? It seems that this is the what He is saying. This also begs to differ that those who confess they are still sinners even after they have repented have no faith.
I am writing this blog not to condemn you, but to tell you that if you still have the mentality of what I have written already, then you are like the 5 unwise virgins in the parable of the 10 virgins. Those who have chosen to live by faith, please God. When you live by faith, it’s not about you, not about what you are going through, not what others have done to you. If that were the case then you haven’t denied yourself! You don’t see Jesus doing this or Paul. Paul in Acts 16 got wrongfully accused, beaten and thrown in jail. Not once do you read that he complained and yet what do we read? Paul and Silas were singing songs and hymns to the Lord. Paul was living by faith which is a direct contrast to what we see today.
This video will change your life. This is Dan Mohler. It didn’t matter what came against his life. Nothing could change Jesus in his life. I have gone through some of what Dan has gone through, it’s a testing of your faith to see if you will give up going after Jesus, or giving up what Jesus has told or shown you. Joseph had a dream and it came to pass.
The Great Awakening
There is a Great Awakening happening here on earth. It’s an awakening to righteousness. Jesus came to make peace between man and God. You have the opportunity to enter that peace and rest. It is only through the offering of the blood of Jesus that you have right standing with God. It’s not about saying a prayer and you will go to heaven. If that were true, why then didn’t the Apostles do this? Why didn’t Jesus teach this? In Acts 16, the jailer asked, “Sir what I do to be saved?” You don’t see Paul telling him to say a prayer, but believing in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved. Immediately he and his whole household were baptized! This is why when John was trying to prevent Jesus from being baptized, Jesus responded, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Interesting that the devil has convinced some denominations about say a prayer using Romans 10:9, but not using verse 10:10 as well. Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. This is why I wrote the book, What If There Really Is Fake News In The Church.
Remember what Jesus said; Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Make sure you have prepared your land to receive the rain.
