Many today believe that they have received God’s love. Others have a hard time receiving it. If you believe you will receive, it’s that simple. God proved His love for all humanity by crucifying His Son. Now that’s love!

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Zealous Sign Up

If you believe that Jesus died on a cross for you, then you will receive Him. This is where baptism comes in. Baptism represents the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Colossians 2:11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

Once you have received Jesus Christ (God’s Love), you should walk in Him. This is the part were people tend to get messed up with or they were taught another way. Old things have passed away, behold, all things are brand new. Baptism killed off the old way of living while this brand new life is for you to discover. There is a struggle with the old you. It doesn’t want to let go, but you must let it go. Jesus tried to explain this with wineskins. Your old self and your new self don’t mix together.

Luke 5:36Then He spoke a parable to them: “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. 37 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. 38 But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. 39 And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ”

Jesus explained to the Pharisees and Sadducees that they were making themselves right on the outside, but not on the inside. He called them out on that. Today some believe that we are neither clean on the outside or the inside, This is a tragic mistake. All of this goes back to the wineskins. The inside is new as well as the outside. I will share some scriptures to back up what I am saying here.

Matthew 23:25 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.

Inside New

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

2 Corinthians 135 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

Outside New

Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Colossians 3:10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,

I really hope this blesses you. I only want to share the truth. I’m not here for me, I’m here for you. Be Blessed.
