Have you received peace from God? “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Jesus came to make peace between man and God. “Therefore, having been justified by faith, WE HAVE PEACE WITH GOD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” If you have received His peace, live in it.
Many don’t seem to know the way of peace. “And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Highest; For you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways, To give knowledge of salvation to His people By the remission of their sins, Through the tender mercy of our God, With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us; To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, TO GUIDE OUR FEET INTO THE WAY OF PEACE.” “Their feet are swift to shed blood; Destruction and misery are in their ways; AND THE WAY OF PEACE THEY HAVE NOT KNOWN. There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Not only is peace a fruit of the spirit, but also a fruit of righteousness. “Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” “Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.” The gospel that we are to preach is “The gospel of peace.” “For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, HAVING MADE PEACE THROUGH THE BLOOD OF HIS CROSS. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, YET NOW HE HAS RECONCILED IN THE BODY OF HIS FLESH THROUGH DEATH, TO PRESENT YOU HOLY, AND BLAMELESS, AND ABOVE REPROACH IN HIS SIGHT––IF INDEED YOU CONTINUE IN THE FAITH, GROUNDED AND STEADFAST, AND ARE NOT MOVED AWAY FROM THE HOPE OF THE GOSPEL WHICH YOU HEARD WAS PREACHED TO EVERY CREATURE UNDER HEAVEN, OF WHICH I, PAUL, BECAME A MINISTER.”
I pray that this helps you. Almost every epistle opens with, “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” Be blessed, my friends
