I was reading Revelation 13 and I began to notice a couple of things. First thing I noticed was the mark of the beast is not the mark of the devil. Let me explain. People seem to have the notion that the beast is the devil, well he is not. The beast to the devil is in comparison to Father and Jesus. The devil is the dragon and the beast in layman’s terms would be his son. This might be a surprise to you as it was to me.
Revelation 13:4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
Another thing that jumped out at me regarding this subject is the number of a man which is the mark of the beast. The mark of the beast is his image. Interesting that a man’s number is the beast’s image, and yet Jesus’s Name is God’s image. Those who take on something that is computerized like a chip which are now in most vaccines, you are taking on the image of the beast which is a number.
Kingdom of God – kingdom of darkness Father – Dragon Jesus – Beast Holy Spirit – False Prophet
Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
Revelation 13:15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
The followers of Jesus take on His Name and live by it. Those who live in darkness take on the number and live by it. I hope you understand now when Jesus spoke regarding money. The coin represented a man’s number. You give to a man what belongs to a man, but give to God’s what is God’s. If you are carrying the Name of Jesus, the light of the world, then you give your life to Him. Deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow Jesus.
John 17:25 O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
Mark 12:13 Then they sent to Him some of the Pharisees and the Herodians, to catch Him in His words. 14 When they had come, they said to Him, “Teacher, we know that You are true, and care about no one; for You do not regard the person of men, but teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? 15 Shall we pay, or shall we not pay?” But He, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, “Why do you test Me? Bring Me a denarius that I may see it.” 16 So they brought it. And He said to them, “Whose image and inscription is this?” They said to Him, “Caesar’s.” 17 And Jesus answered and said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they marveled at Him.
John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
I hope what jumped out at me makes you think. That’s what most of my blogs are all about. I want a heavenly perspective of this life, not a earthly perspective. I am intrigued regarding this number of a man. This puts a whole new light to when Jesus said to Peter regarding, get behind Me satan. You have the mind of men and not of God. The mind of men is satanic according to Jesus. Be blessed my friends
Matthew 16:21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. 22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!” 23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”
