When people come to Christ, many are not taught that they are a new creation when they are born again. This new creation is how you see things in the world, how you see yourself and others. It’s from a new eye in which you see. If you still see yourself from the old way you used to live, then you haven’t received the newness of life. Paul describes it this way; “Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

If your life hasn’t changed, then it hasn’t been transformed. This life is a new way of living, a life of love from a pure heart, good conscience and sincere faith. This new life of love, not reserving any rights, but loving people into the Kingdom.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

1 Timothy 1:5 Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,

1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant. It does not act disgracefully, it does not seek its own benefit; it is not provoked, does not keep an account of a wrong suffered, it does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails;

In this new life you do not compromise. If you compromise, that will be a snare to you. The enemy is trying to destroy your conscience. Keep your mind on things above where Jesus is. This way your mind is renewed to newness of life.

Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Ephesians 4:17 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But you have not so learned Christ21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

This new life isn’t about reading scriptures, its actually becoming the scriptures. See yourself in the scriptures as a mirror as you go from glory to glory. If you are a son of the living God then act like it. You don’t have to beg, its a free gift and as you walk this life and everyone sees this life, they will want what you have. What you have is a relationship with God. The relationship is like a husband and wife. As you read the scriptures, read them with Holy Spirit. Your heart will be illuminated by the words and the scriptures will open up to you.

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Romans 5:15 But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many16 And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

You are saved by grace through faith. Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. So you are saved by Jesus through faith in Him. Sinners have no faith, they cannot be saved.

Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast

John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 28:13 He who covers his sins will not prosper,
But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

When life tries to eat your lunch, try to control you, just surrender to Jesus. That’s how you fight. Worship Him for what He has done. This is how you resist the devil, by submitting to God. The enemy is looking to see if you except what he is saying to you, but you just don’t.

James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

You will always be a seed until you die to yourself. That seed can’t grow in selfishness. A seed can only grow in good soil, in Christ. When you are One with the Lord this is where everything flows from. You can’t raise above your tendencies. To the amount you surrender, is the amount you will flow in the spirit. What you give yourself too is what you become.

Matthew 13:23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

Our glory is in Jesus. That’s why we put Him on.

Romans 13:11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
