I want to share with you something that has happened to me. First, all the blogs I write are either experience I have had, or what Holy Spirit is teaching me. I know many will read this well after this is written, but it’s a learning curve for you to become one with Jesus. Yesterday, I got out of peace and ate more than I should have. It was like I was self-indulging in food. After this had happened, do I take on condemnation? I understood what I did, repented, and moved forward, not looking back at what I did. I came back into the peace of Jesus and moved forward. “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you MAY NOT SIN. And IF ANYONE SINS, WE HAVE AN ADVOCATE WITH THE FATHER, JESUS CHRIST THE RIGHTEOUS. “ We see what we have done, step on the enemy who caused this stumbling block, and move forward, learning what this was. Without repentance, there is no knowledge. “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”
The enemy wants you to give up, he wants you to take on that weight so you can do wonders for him. When we sin, we are advancing the kingdom of darkness. We are to live holy, blameless, and above reproach in the Lord’s sight. “And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight–– if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.” The devil believes that you will take on that sin and talk about it. Condemnation will come upon you and you will never live your potential in Christ. “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” Will you make mistakes, yes? Are you to wallow in those mistakes, no. We see it for what it is and continue to grow in Christ. One scripture tells us to lay it aside and put it behind us. “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, LET US LAY ASIDE EVERY WEIGHT, AND THE SIN WHICH SO EASILY ENSNARES US, AND LET US RUN WITH ENDURANCE THE RACE THAT IS SET BEFORE US, LOOKING UNTO JESUS, THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH, WHO FOR THE JOY THAT WAS SET BEFORE HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” This fight we are in is the fight for our faith. Our faith is in Jesus as He is our peace. Because Jesus overcame the world, we have a place in ourselves where we live from. The enemy can only come against our flesh to try to get us to live from the flesh. “For to be fleshly minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is LIFE AND PEACE. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.” This is the struggle, but when we yield to Jesus, we live from the spirit and have victory over everything. “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called, and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” Fight your old man so that you will live this new life, Your flesh will hate it, but this new life is where life and peace are.
I pray that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened to this. I pray that you have victory over the enemy and nothing by any means hurt you. “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Be blessed, my friends.
