Whom are you loyal to? Are you loyal in your relationships here on earth? More importantly, are you loyal to Jesus? David was a man after God’s heart. He was loyal to Him. Have you ever noticed that when David repented for the three sins that he committed, God never mentions it again. In fact, God continues to brag about David that he followed what the Lord has told him. God did this with every ruler of Israel and Judah comparing them to David.

Acts 13:22 And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’

2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.

Today, the Lord goes around to see who is loyal to Him. You can confess all you want that you are loyal to Jesus, but if you don’t live loyal to Him, then your aren’t. The people of Antioch were loyal to Jesus. In fact, they saw their loyalty and began to call them Christ like ones – Christians.

Matthew 15:7 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me
.
And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men
.’ ”

Acts 11:25 Then Barnabas departed for Tarsus to seek Saul. 26 And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

The devil will test your loyalty in every aspect in your life. Job was a good example.. Satan wanted to prove that Job loves his life more than God. The devil does the same today. Have you overcome sin (this world) yet?

Job 1:Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 10 Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. 11 But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!

Job 2:3 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause.” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has he will give for his lifeBut stretch out Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will surely curse You to Your face! And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.”

Matthew 13:18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower: 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. 20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands itwho indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
