There are many of you who don’t know the difference between love of the flesh and Love of the Spirit. The Bible does teach of this Love if you are looking for it. Also, it’s up too you if you want to live by this Love or not.
Everyone knows how to live this love in the flesh. It’s about what can I get from you. You may ask questions like, “why don’t you love me?” “Why did you do this to me?” “Look at what I did for you?” These are all from the flesh which this world has taught you. Love like this only profits you at the expense of another. Let me give you an example of what the church does from the flesh. They will go out and feed the hungry, help the homeless and yet tell them they need to come to church. This love is expecting something in return which is of the flesh. Now if the church did the same, prayed for people as well introducing My King Jesus expecting NOTHING in return, this is of the Spirit. You may ask yourself, “how then will they learn about Jesus?” They will learn the same way I did. Read the Bible, listen to His Voice and obey His Voice. To know His Voice is the key to EVERYTHING!! When He speaks, if it lines up with His Word, then it’s from Him. Jesus / Holy Spirit are the GREAT Teacher and I want to be like my teacher.
Love in the Spirit is the more excellent way. Let me show you what Love in the Spirit looks like. 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant. 5 It does not act disgracefully, it does not seek its own benefit; it is not provoked, does not keep an account of a wrong suffered, 6 it does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. God is Love. Now replace the word Love with God and you will see My Father in a different light. So you will know those who are of the Spirit as they live from the Spirit.
Do you know that you can be made perfect in Love just like Father is perfect in love? Matthew 5:44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
This Love in the Spirit is amazing. Once you live like this, you don’t want to go back to live in the flesh.
