Living in the Spirit

There are two ways to live, in the flesh or in the spirit. The flesh will want to be dominant. Condemnation plays a big part here. The flesh will always try to condemn you. The dominant flesh will to keep you away from the spirit. But there is NOW no condemnation for those who are IN Christ Jesus who do not walk according to the flesh, but the spirit. When you choose to live in the spirit, you are choosing life over death. The flesh is death but the spirit is life. That’s why the spirit of life that is in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the SpiritFor the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

You are limited by your flesh. To the extent you let go of the flesh, is the extent you live in the spirit. There is no limit to God, the limit is ours. This is the free will to which God has given us. You have to see yourself separated from the flesh, if you don’t, you won’t live in the spirit. Look at the things you are trying hold dear to you. Can you take any of this with you? No! So those things are of the flesh. You will actually be free if you decide to live in the spirit, free to live for God with no hindrances. Newness of life is of the spirit. This is why the Lord is my Sheppard and I shall not want. Everything you need is in the spirit.

Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Romans 8:6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,

Romans 6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Living in the flesh is a lower form of life. If you live in the flesh, the evil spirit can dominate you as the spirit will always dominate the flesh. The good news is that if we live in the spirit, we live with Jesus and we are one with Him. Jesus dominates the evil spirits so we can do the same with Jesus. This is what the enemy doesn’t want you to know. If you wake up to this, he is finished. You must conquer this in your life first before you can help and free others. This is done through your will. It’s your will if you want to live in the flesh or spirit. It’s your will that will defeat the enemy so you can live in the spirit. It’s your will lined up with God’s will, the two become one. Nothing will be impossible for you if you do this.

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

Luke 22:42 saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.”

Matthew 17:20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

The flesh is what stops the Kingdom of God from coming out. We must be so determined to defeat the flesh.

Romans 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Walking in the spirit is walking in the light and love. God is spirit/God is Light/God is Love/God is peace.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

John 4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.

Look at 1 Peter 2, when he talks about a living stone, the living stone is in the spirit. End of Hebrews 5 discerning between good and evil is between flesh and spirit.

1 Peter 2:4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 5:13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

If you have faith which actually means understanding. In Matthew 16:8 Jesus tells His disciples why do you reason about bringing no bread. Little faith of understanding that He was talking about the teaching. If you only understood as small as a mustard seed you can tell the spirits to go and it will go. In all your getting, get understanding.

Matthew 16:8 But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, “O you of little faith, why do you reason among yourselves because you have brought no bread?

Luke 17:6 So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
