Many know Jesus as the Prince of Peace, but did you know He is the King of Peace? I want to give you something to ponder. Jesus is the King of Peace. He is also the King of Righteousness. Interestingly enough, the Kingdom of God is in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the King of the Kingdom. That’s why He told His follower to go and preach, the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. If Christ is in you, then the Kingdom is here.

Romans 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

The strength that we have in the Lord is through the peace that we have with Him. If you love God, you are at peace with Him. Jesus gave His life for us. Now that’s love. He didn’t give us His love, He showed us, love. What Jesus gave us is His peace. He gave it to His disciples and He gives it to you if you follow His faith. When you have the peace of Christ ruling in your heart, things that happen to you don’t move you. Peter and John got whipped by the religious leaders and they rejoiced for suffering for His Name. Paul and Silas got whipped and they sang songs and hymns to the Lord. Now that’s the peace that is beyond all understanding. Have you received this peace, peace of the Kingdom of God? Jesus came to make peace between man and God. He is the door into peace. Read Psalm 23, it a Psalm of peace. Psalm 23 refers to John 10:1-21, check it out.

Colossians 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. 21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—

I want to leave you with this note that I wrote in my book, “Have Peace With God.” Did you know that most of the epistles have “Peace” written in the opening of the epistles? Be blessed, my friends.

Colossians 1:2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are in Colosse: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
