If God was hiding something from you, would you want to find out what that is? Are you ok with Father hiding something and you just couldn’t be bothered to find out what that is? When Jesus was in the wilderness, the devil had no idea who Jesus was, but after the temptations were complete, he knew who Jesus was. This freaked them out. The demons knew who Jesus was saying, “We know who you are, the holy One of God!” Interesting that the demons knew who Jesus was, but the religious leaders had no clue who Jesus was. They crucified Jesus for blaspheming. Jesus was confessing that He is the Son of God.
Mark 1:23 Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, 24 saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”
John 8:21 Then Jesus said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come.” 22 So the Jews said, “Will He kill Himself, because He says, ‘Where I go you cannot come’?” 23 And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. 24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” 25 Then they said to Him, “Who are You?” And Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning. 26 I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him.” 27 They did not understand that He spoke to them of the Father.
Saul and many of the religious leaders were so against the teaching of Jesus, Saul jailed people for their beliefs. Saul got a rude awakening, getting knocked off his high horse by Jesus and telling him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” Even today, many pastors and religious leaders are hindering people from entering the Kingdom of God as Saul was. Jesus paid a very high price for your freedom from sin, yet, pastors and religious leaders use guilt, condemnation, and shame against the people, making them believe they are still sinners. When people find out the truth about what is going on, they will be shocked! What they will be shocked about is the mystery that has been hidden from the foundation of the world. If you don’t seek this truth out, you will never find it in your life. Someone will not just hand this truth to you. It has to be discovered within you, that is, Christ in you, the hope of glory.
1 Corinthians 6:15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” 17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Colossians 1:27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28 Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. 29 To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.
Calling yourself a sinner, you will never see the beauty of the Kingdom inside you. It’s Christ in you, but if you see yourself other than one with Him, you will never find Him. Jesus wants us to be one with Him in the spirit. From that relationship with Him comes all things. All of heaven is attracted to Jesus. Once the light comes on that you are one with Him, all of heaven is attracted to you. It’s from that relationship inside you where rivers of living water come from. Father has hidden this from you, but it’s your glory to find this out and live from that relationship. Be blessed, my friends
