Hardness Of Heart

One of the church’s most destructive teachings today is that of a sinner is saved by grace. There is no truth in this teaching. If there was any truth to this teaching, you would be free from sin as the truth sets you free. Jesus came to save sinners, but confessing being a sinner saved by grace and not confessing Jesus is Lord is temperamental to your growth in Christ. Sin stops your growth in Christ. You have to ask yourself this question. Does God get any glory for you being a sinner saved by grace?

John 8:31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” 33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” 34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Sadly, this teaching produces a hardness of heart toward God. You begin to ask, why aren’t you believing me, or where were you in this situation? Sin has always separated you from God. Confessing you are a sinner saved by grace, you are believing you are separate from God, but one day you will be joined to Him. This puts you in the category of the 5 unwise virgins in Matthew 25. The 5 wise had oil in their lamp. This is referring to the spirit. Those who have the spirit will live by the spirit, but others will say they have the spirit, but live from their flesh. They can’t see themselves as a spiritual being. That’s where people fall into the trap that they are sinners saved by grace. When you try to discuss that they are free from sin, watch how mad they get. You will know them by their fruit, by what comes out of their mouth. From the heart, the mouth speaks.

Matthew 25:6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. 11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

I am so grateful that the Lord has opened my eyes to this. Many won’t accept this, but this is very liberating to me. Knowing that all you have to do is accept His forgiveness and live that forgiveness is the most liberating way to live. It’s the truth that sets you free from any performance of Christianity. You don’t have to earn God’s love. You have to accept God’s love, Jesus, and live through Him. Live through that love as faith works through love. When you live in peace with God, you will overcome the world. Be blessed, my friends.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
