Don’t Stop Believing

0

There’s a place in Christ where you go from believing to knowing. I don’t believe Jesus is Lord, I know He is. This is the place where the enemy doesn’t want you to be. He will use circumstances, or people to stop you from believing, even questioning your belief. The enemy used this tactic, “Did God say,” to change Jesus what He believed. That is why it is written, “Those who endure until the end will be saved.

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

Matthew 24:13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

Being a follower of Jesus is like being in a race. Some don’t even want you to participate in the race. Some will discourage you, going as far as, why are you doing this? You know you will never going to make it. You might as well give up, it’s too hard for you to finish this race. Look at what it’s doing to your family, just give up. You are just a fleshly being, you will never make it. Everyone sins so it’s ok to sin, God will forgive you. Have you heard these discouraging words? All are done on purpose to stop the Kingdom of God in you from coming out. If you take on any of these, you won’t grow in Jesus.

1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. 25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. 26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. 27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

The goal of our instruction is love, from a pure heart, good conscience, and a sincere faith. If you don’t live from all three that are mentioned, you’re not walking in love. The reason I bring this up is that we are to preach the gospel. The gospel is the resurrection of Jesus. He is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword. One thing that the Sadducees didn’t get many Christians still don’t get, Jesus is not the God of the dead. He is the God of the living for all live to Him. Christians were first called this in Antioch because the people saw Jesus in them. It wasn’t a confession, but a living. If people can’t see Jesus in your life, why would they believe in Him when you aren’t living Him? People don’t read their bibles, they read Christians. What is your life saying? Don’t stop believing. Be blessed, my friends.

1 Timothy 1:5 Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,

Luke 20:37 But even Moses showed in the burning bush passage that the dead are raised, when he called the Lord ‘the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ 38 For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him.

2 Corinthians 3:2 You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
