There are many, I was one, that would try and go around to different conferences to find someone who God was working through. This is a distraction I have found. When you look at people to learn from, look at their faith. If their faith isn’t the faith in which Jesus walked, then don’t follow with them. It’s faith that we are looking for, but few have found it. many say they have faith, but when you look at their life, there is no evidence of faith. Hebrews 13:7 Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their way of life, imitate their faith.
When the disciples where following Jesus, what do you think they were following. They where following Jesus’ faith. This faith is of the spirit. You can’t follow Jesus in the flesh as the flesh profits you NOTHING!!! John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. When the disciples tried to heal a young boy, they were operating from their flesh as they couldn’t cast it out. They thought that they had faith but there was no evidence of their faith in this situation. Take a look at how Jesus responded to them for their lack of faith. Matthew 17:16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.” 17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. 19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. The belief of the disciple was that all they had to do is just cast it out, but they were learning how to operate from the spirit. The flesh can not move a spirit, but the Spirit of God can move a demonic spirit. That is why light is greater than darkness. This is how you move those demonic mountains and when you operate from the spirit, nothing will be impossible for you.
This house of faith that the Lord is building is of the spirit. This is why I don’t go to church today, as i haven’t found one that operates from the spirit. If one was operating from the spirit, everyone would be flocking to it as the Spirit of God is operating there. John 4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. This operating from the spirit starts by receiving the Spirit of God. You don’t receive the Spirit of God from baptism. The Spirit of God comes from the Kingdom of God. When you are baptized, you are baptized into Jesus’ faith. This faith is in you as everyone is given a measure of faith. You can have that faith and do nothing with it by burying it in the sand and just wait for the Master to show up and believe that He will take you. The Spirit can fall from Heaven as it did with Jesus and Cornelius or by the laying on of hands. Now you may understand when Jesus said; John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Luke 17:21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.’ You don’t look here or there, but the Kingdom is within you. This Kingdom is of faith. Your righteousness come from Jesus as you receive this by faith. The spirit that is within you is the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. Many don’t realize what they have. Many haven’t received it by faith. Many don’t understand the things of the Kingdom which is of the spirit. They still walk in the flesh rather than walking in the spirit. Now I hope you understand that He has given you everything you need. All you are doing is looking in the wrong place. Be Blessed Friends.
