How many of you know people who are established in righteousness? This is done for a reason, and it’s not God who is doing this. “There is no one righteous, not one.” The kingdom of heaven is established in righteousness. “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” Jesus came to “Fulfill all righteousness.” The Kingdom of heaven is established in righteousness, so we as followers of Jesus must establish this here on earth.
Let me ask you this question. Is your heart established in righteousness? “As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.” “In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.” The opposite of righteousness is wickedness. Search through the scripture for those things listed that you may not enter the Kingdom of God. They are all wickedness in the eyes of God, but not man. Most are commonly accepted today. We see how far men have fallen from God, and yet men want to be accepted by Him in their wickedness. “And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.” Sin is a separation from God so you are not established in righteousness. Don’t look at what the church teaches, but what Jesus teaches. They are contrary to one another. The church teaches the flesh, but Jesus teaches the spirit. “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”
I hope that you are led by the spirit of God and not by your flesh. “The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” Be blessed, my friends.
