Those who believe in Jesus are fully convinced that Jesus is Lord. Are you fully convinced? Are you fully convinced to what God has said will come to pass? Are you fully convinced that God is your healer, not medicine or a vaccine? Are you fully convinced that the Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you? Are you fully convinced like Abraham was? Abraham, even though he considered his body dead, was fully convinced that what God had told him would come to pass. That is faith. Romans 4:19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being FULLY CONVINCED that what He had promised He was also able to perform. 22 And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Or do you wavier in doubt and unbelief? Do stand firm on that rock? So, are you fully convinced with NO doubt and unbelief! James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with NO DOUBTING, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Are you full convinced that nothing can separate you from God? When Paul wrote to the Romans, he was fully convinced that nothing could separate God’s love for him. Romans 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Do you have this confidence that what Jesus paid for is already done for you?
There was another man who was fully convinced mentioned in the scriptures who wasn’t one of the apostles. This man’s name was Apollos. He he vigorously refuted the Jews publicly, showing from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ. Acts 18:24 Now a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus. 25 This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things of the Lord, though he knew only the baptism of John. 26 So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately. 27 And when he desired to cross to Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him; and when he arrived, he greatly helped those who had believed through grace; 28 for he vigorously refuted the Jews publicly, showing from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ.
Paul went through a lot, but he was fully convinced. It didn’t matter what the enemy through at him, he would not change his mind. This is one who is fully convinced. He used what the enemy threw at him to continue to build his confidence in the Lord. Here is what he wrote about that. 2 Corinthians 11:16 I say again, let no one think me a fool. If otherwise, at least receive me as a fool, that I also may boast a little. 17 What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as it were, foolishly, in this confidence of boasting. 18 Seeing that many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast. 19 For you put up with fools gladly, since you yourselves are wise! 20 For you put up with it if one brings you into bondage, if one devours you, if one takes from you, if one exalts himself, if one strikes you on the face. 21 To our shame I say that we were too weak for that! But in whatever anyone is bold—I speak foolishly—I am bold also. 22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I. 23 Are they ministers of Christ?—I speak as a fool—I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often. 24 From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; 26 in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; 27 in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness— 28 besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches. 29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to stumble, and I do not burn with indigiation?30 If I must boast, I will boast in the things which concern my infirmity. 31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying. 32 In Damascus the governor, under Aretas the king, was guarding the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desiring to arrest me; 33 but I was let down in a basket through a window in the wall, and escaped from his hands.
When you are fully convinced, nothing can ever change your mind. There is no doubt or unbelief, only faith. Your faith will overcome the world, or something else other that faith will be more important to you. Faith comes from hearing The Word of the Kingdom of God.
