The word abide is all about relationships. You just don’t want to read about God but experience Him. God, like everyone else, we have a relationship built on trust. If you can’t trust someone how do you love them? Also, if you accuse God for anything, like the accuser of the brethren does, how do you love Him? If you are in Christ and Christ is in you, that is a relationship.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.

Revelation 12:9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Jesus died to have a relationship with His bride. The real church is the bride of Christ. The church is not about a building, but a relationship. Where two are gathered in My Name, I will be in their mist. That is the church. We are to gather for love and good works. Jesus did the work of the Father. Healing, raising the dead, casting out a demon, and cleansing the leper. All of these are not what we are to strive for. Those all come out of the relationship. It’s not a fleshly relationship, but spiritual. You are one with Jesus in the spirit as a husband and wife are one in the flesh. A spiritual relationship is greater than a fleshly one. Jesus died so He can have a relationship with you. He had to remove that old filthy garment called sin so He can clothe you with His righteousness. You look so beautiful when you are clothed in righteousness. This is not your doing, but His. All you have to do is say yes and live this relationship. Once you have accepted this beautiful relationship, He has a thing in place for you to do to prove that Jesus is alive and active. This love that you have for Him will just pour out of you like rivers of living water. Everything around you will be affected by this relationship. When you are so in love with Jesus, it is no longer your life, but Christ in you.

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.

Romans 5:17 For if by the one man’s [a]offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

When we abide, it’s in His righteousness that we live. Picking up your cross is what Jesus has left for you, His righteousness. You put His righteousness on and you live His righteousness. You can’t live in His righteousness until you denied yourself. Once you have denied yourself and picked up His righteousness, your cross, now you follow His faith. It’s faith in the spirit that you are following. Jesus is the door into the spirit. That door is the way into the spirit. The truth is spirit, and your real life is in the spirit. There you will have life and it more abundantly. I hope that this helps you with your walk with My king. He is the most amazing person I know. I everyone to experience Jesus. Be blessed, my friends

Romans 13:11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
