As I am putting this blogpost together this morning, I am reflecting on my own life. Is my life proving or is a witness to the King I serve? Not by what I confess but do I live what I confess? If your believing in a all power and all loving God, is your life a mirror of that? This is why we don’t judge. Matthew 7:1 “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

Dan explains this best in this video 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. So remember, how you judge other will be measured back to you. Matthew 7:12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Some may look at that verse and reflect that if someone is doing evil to me that i can do evil back which is contrary to the Bible. 1 Peter 3:9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.

Those who follow Jesus as an example follow His faith as our faith is in Him. Jesus commanded us to… John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. So your life lived proves what you believe. Peter commented on this that people will look at your life which is strange to them. 1 Peter 4:4 In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you. They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. So our commandment is Love. Paul told Timothy where this Love comes from. When you look at where this Love comes from, you will notice that these are the very places that the enemy comes against you. 1 Timothy 1:5 Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heartfrom a good conscience, and from sincere faith. I pray that this is making more sense to you.

I just want to sum up with this. Don’t look at others according to the flesh. Some churches make this mistake. If you are of the Spirit, then live in the Spirit. This is where your life lived proves what you believe. Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Mathew 7:7 “Ask (for forgiveness), and it will be given to you; seek (The Kingdom), and you will find; knock (Jesus is the door), and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! 12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Be Blessed friends
