Many Christians don’t realize, once you are born again, you are one with Christ. It’s from this oneness that we live. I have a saying that I tell friends who follow Jesus. “Your life lived proves what you believe.” Your life is not about a confession and repenting, but living that repentance. “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.” Some churches teach that we are not saved by work. This is true, but we are saved for good works. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

Your oneness should be evidence for everyone to see. When you begin to walk in the light as He is in the light, your life is a mirror of His life. “For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.” “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” Your oneness with Christ is not of the flesh, but of the spirit. “But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” If God is in spirit and we are joined with Jesus in the spirit, the only conclusion for us is to live in the spirit. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” For our lives to worship Him, we must worship in the spirit. Your life lived in the spirit is your worship. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” You were created in God’s image before the foundation of the world. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.” Being born again, we are born into Christ in the world and we walk as He walked.

I pray that your eyes of understanding be enlightened to your oneness with Him. “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Be blessed, my friends.
