How many of us are living a life that pleases Father? Jesus pleased Father and we are to live his example by following Him. “Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.” “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” Take a look at your life. Are you living for Jesus or yourself?
We are here to glorify Jesus. If we aren’t glorying Jesus, who are you following? The works that we are to walk in have been planned for us before the foundation of the world. We were created in Christ before the foundation of the world. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved..“ We have been saved for the works Jesus did and even greater. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” We want to be like those who were given 10 talents or 5, but not the one who was given one talent. The one who had the one talent did nothing with what God has given him. He buried it. What are you doing with what God has given you? The gospel which you have, the gospel of peace, is an as-you-go gospel. It will affect everyone around you if you do things out of love. “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.” The one who was given the one talent was cast out of heaven. “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’ But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. ‘So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming, I would have received back my own with interest. Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. ‘And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’” “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” When you go, do whatever pleases Him
I pray that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened to doing what pleases Father. “By faith, Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Be blessed, my friends.
