How many of us have experienced His mercy? If you repent of your sins, have you., obtained mercy for all your sins? Now the question becomes, do you believe that you have been forgiven? This is where the struggle begins. Many seem to think that they are sinners because they are still in the flesh, but you are NOT to be people of the flesh. Instead you are the people of the spirit as God is the spirit. Our flesh will die, but the spirit lives on, but where it lives determines where you live today. If you believe you are forgiven of your sins, then you know Jesus is Lord. “His goodness and mercy will follow you the rest of your life.” Do you believe that?

I don’t know if you noticed this, but in the parable of the good Samaritan, people seem to remember the question posed to Jesus, but not all of the answers. A lawyer wanted to know how to inherit eternal life. He answered correctly with loving God and loving your neighbor as yourself. Of course, the lawyer would ask, “But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” Loving your neighbor is not agreeing with them, but showing them mercy. “So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?” And he said, “HE WHO SHOWED MERCY ON HIM.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.” Loving your neighbor is sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. This is the mercy that was shared with you and you turned away from sin, go and do likewise. This world has become eviler and eviler. It’s not what is evil in men’s eyes, but God’s. He is the one who has the final say if you will enter heaven or not. You will live what you believe, and how you live is by what you will be judged by. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” The apostle John confirms in the Book of Revelation that you will be judged by your works. “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, TO GIVE TO EVERY ONE ACCORDING TO HIS WORK. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” Jesus wants you to learn mercy. “But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.

I pray that your eyes of understanding be enlightened. I want to leave you with this last thought. “For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.” Be blessed, my friends
