For those who choose the way of peace, their hearts are not troubled. This doesn’t mean that you won’t have trouble with the enemy speaking to you. Have you ever noticed that thoughts come into your mind to make you worry, but they never come true? Where do you think those thoughts come from? “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” He whispers in your ears to see if you believe him. If what comes out of your mouth is the same as what he is saying, you have agreed with him. “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, BRINGING EVERY THOUGHT into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

You may ask yourself, “How do I fight this, I am not winning?” It’s easy to overcome the enemy through praise and thanksgiving. “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” Notice that the verses there has no time limit. Paul says, “Always,” and, “In everything.” By doing this, you are settling your heart down so Jesus can rule in your heart. “And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.” This is the path that we are to be on, the way of peace. The fruit of light is, “For the fruit of the Light is in all GOODNESS, RIGHTEOUSNESS, and TRUTH.” We also, “If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” If you are walking in the light as He is in the light, you are walking in His righteousness, you are sowing peace; the seeds of the Kingdom. “Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”

I pray that you get this understanding to have the peace of Christ rule in your heart. The devil is trying to get you out of peace. “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” Be blessed, my friends
