The greatest gift you could ever give my Father is your life. I am not talking about some of your life, but all of it. Paul best explained it this way when he wrote a letter to all who were in Rome. Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable serviceAnd do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Many don’t believe that they can be holy living in their body. This is a lie that has crept in the church and now people have accepted this lie as truth. If this is true, then Jesus, who is holy, can’t live in you as He is holy. Paul was trying to convince this very thing to the Corinthian church. 1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Even Peter was trying to tell you that in all your conduct, be holy. 1 Peter 1:13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.

Zealous Sign Up

Your conduct will determine whether you have faith or not. How you react to situations locates where you are in faith. Look at all those who are mentioned in the faith chapter, they just didn’t have faith, but their faith was tested to see if it was genuine towards my Father. Don’t think that you will be exempt from these tests, you won’t be. If you are strong in the Lord and the power of His might, you won’t have to worry at all regarding your faith, as your shield is very strong. Is your faith built on a rock that cannot be shaken by any storm, or does it coward when difficult situations arise to destroy your faith. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Peter thought of faith to be more precise that gold. Your faith in Jesus has to be the most important than anything this world has to offer. 1 Peter 1:6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trialsthat the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by firemay be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ. John best described faith this way. 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faithWho is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Our life lived proves what we believe. It’s not about going to church, rather, becoming the church. 2 Corinthians 3:2 You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart. If you are a living epistle, you would be living by faith as it is written; Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it (the gospel) the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just (righteous) shall live by faith.”
