When you begin to look at your life, who are you working for? Are you building your kingdom or the Kingdom of God? Are you saving for your retirement? To what have you put your faith in?

I asked all these questions to make you think of where your focus is. You can take nothing from this world; what is the evidence that you were even here? 1 Timothy 6:6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing outAnd having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. Ecclesiastes 5:13 There is a severe evil which I have seen under the sun:
Riches kept for their owner to his hurt.
14 But those riches perish through misfortune;
When he begets a son, there is nothing in his hand.
15 As he came from his mother’s womb, naked shall he return,
To go as he came;
And he shall take nothing from his labor
Which he may carry away in his hand.
16 And this also is a severe evil—
Just exactly as he came, so shall he go.
And what profit has he who has labored for the wind?
17 All his days he also eats in darkness,
And he has much sorrow and sickness and anger.

I know many people who believe that they love God and I know they do. These same people are being deceived by the things of this world to enslave them to serve money rather than God. Matthew 13:22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. This happened to the people of Israel when they were in Egypt. Exodus 1:5 All those who were descendants of Jacob were seventy persons (for Joseph was in Egypt already). And Joseph died, all his brothers, and all that generation. But the children of Israel were fruitful and increased abundantly, multiplied and grew exceedingly mighty; and the land was filled with them. Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who did not know Joseph. And he said to his people, “Look, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we; 10 come, let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they multiply, and it happen, in the event of war, that they also join our enemies and fight against us, and so go up out of the land.” 11 Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh supply cities, Pithom and Raamses.

This cartoon video will show you how people are enslaved to money. Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
