1 Peter 3:17 For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. There are many who don’t actually don’t like to suffer for doing good. That would be your will, not God’s. How do you prove that God is with you if you can’t rejoice while suffering for doing good. This may seem like a difficult place to be, but this is a testing of your faith to see if you love God regardless to what comes at you.

When you are going through the trials to see if you actually love God or your own life, you are to rejoice in all things. 1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. One thing that many don’t understand is that when you complain against God for the suffering, you are actually inviting evil (the serpent) into the situation. Your testing is to see how you will react. How you react is who will empower you. Rejoicing, God will empower you. Complaining, satan will empower you. 1 Peter 3:9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. I am not saying to go out and look for how you can suffer. What I am saying that if you are truly a citizen from Heaven, you will not react as a citizen of this world making yourself different. This tends to give you a opportunity to preach the good news to why you react the way you do. Have a Blessed Day!
