As I was walking around my place and preaching, this came out of my mouth. Breaking up is hard to do!. The Lord told me to write about that. One of the most difficult things for a person to do is to break up with sin. It can be done as the Lord has said, but it’s up to you to decide this.

One thing that boggles my mind is that people that go to church, who confess Jesus, are still confessing as sinners. If you have turned away from sin, then you are not a sinner. Most people who do go to church are sinners as they haven’t repented and turned away from sin. They still confess and live from it. The verse they LOVE to use is 1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. They have convinced themselves that, if you say that you have no sin means you are still a sinner. Not realizing that this is actually talking about relationship with Jesus in the verse before. 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. So if you say you have no need for this relationship with Jesus as I have no sin. This is an invitation to fellowship with Jesus. But the church will actually defend sin by saying, “no this means your a sinner.” These people love sin so much that they are actually defending sin rather than a relationship with Jesus. Mindboggling!

One thing that i have learned, is that people today love to live in sin. They will justify for sin in their mind as this is ok, God will forgive me. Really? I wouldn’t want to be in your shoes sitting on the judgement seat of Christ. Sex is one of the biggest tools the devil will use against you. He knows how powerful that is, as well that this empowers him. When you commit sexual immorality, you are empower the devil. Why do you think the Lord said through Paul; 1 Corinthians 6:15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” 17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. When men and woman who have sex outside of marriage (covenant) is formication. Merriam-Webster defines fornication as sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other. Paul wrote thatI tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Breaking up from sin is hard to do. You have to unlearn everything that this world has taught you. This world doesn’t want to lose it’s grip on you. This song is evident of that.
