There are many who don’t know how to war in the Spirit. This should be taught in churches but you might have to go outside a church to learn. I learned some of what I know in some special interest groups who are outside the boundaries of what is taught in church. The Lord Jesus has expanded on this for me and has taught me how to war in the Spirit. I will share with you a few of what I have learned.

First thing you have to understand that this war is a war of words. 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. The devil will uses guilt, condemnation and shame against you to get you to give in to him. He will use family members, church members, anyone who is closest to you he will use. He knows these are the people with the most influence to change your mind to agree with what the devil wants. Many people don’t even realize they are doing this. A great measuring stick to know if it’s from God is, if it’s steal, kill or destroy, then it’s NEVER God.

Watch if the devil builds a nest on your head so all you do is listen to him. That’s why it is written 2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christand being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. The devil can’t force you to do anything unless you give in to what he tells you. If you give in to what he is saying you become a slave to sin (the devil).

Zealous Sign Up

These are a few examples of what the devil does. You may wonder, how do i fight back? One way is using the sword of the Spirit. How do you do that? Well, this next verse, the first part is quoted quite often but what I have underlined is how you fight back. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.

My only advice to you is that if you decide to get in this war, your faith better be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. That is one way. Another is in this video.

Here’s a great testimony of being strong in the Lord
