Wherever the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom and He is in you. Your freedom from sin is already finished, but it’s where you live determines your freedom. If you still consider yourself a sinner because you are still in the flesh, how differently do you live than the rest of the world does?

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 [a]gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Paul teaches through his epistles to put off the old and put on the new. He goes as far as saying that you are a new creation. Would you want to live from the old or the new? The new is the image of God which is Christ Jesus. He is the firstborn in God’s image. Being born into Christ, you are a new creation, old things have passed away and all things have become new. This new creation that you have become is a life-giving spirit. Adam was only a living being, but through Christ, you are a life-giving spirit. It is in Christ where you have life and it more abundantly. It’s in Christ where you live, move, and have your being. Everything that heaven has to offer is given to Christ and He is in you. Now here’s a question for you. Do you want to live from your old man, the flesh, or the new man which is the spirit, Christ in you the hope of glory?

2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. 16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

There is no freedom as long as you live from your flesh. It’s a struggle you will always have until you live from the spirit. We are not to be flesh-dominant, but spirit dominant. The world teaches you that you are fleshly, but the Kingdom teaches you that you are spiritual. The way, the truth, and the life are all in the spirit. Sadly most choose the flesh which leads to destruction. If you are after rest and peace, live in the spirit. It will be a challenge at first, but the reward is everlasting life. Be blessed, my friends.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Matthew 7:13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
