Where you spend most of your time and effort controls your life. If you spend most of your time watching fear porn, which I call tell lie vision or television, it controls your thoughts. If you spend your day in the Bible, your thoughts will become like those thoughts in the Bible. You will know a person by where they spend most of their time. The enemy knows that fear controls people. He has been controlling people since Adam and Eve. There was a time when he couldn’t control someone, that person is Jesus. Fear never controlled Jesus. Many will say Jesus was afraid to go to the cross. That is wrong. It was a delight for Him to suffer for us. When Jesus prayed to have this cup taken away from Him, it wasn’t the cross; it was that for the first time, He would be separated from His Father. It was the sin of the world that was going to be placed on Him. For 3 hours sin which is darkness was put on Him We know that sin separates us from God. For the first time on earth, Jesus says, āNow from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. And about the ninth hour, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Sin separates you from God. Where are you spending your time?
For us who know Jesus, we spend all of our time with Him, all day, every day. We try not to let any situation that comes against us deter our relationship with Him. We respond in peace because it’s the peace of Christ that rules in our hearts. āAnd let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.ā The more time you spend with the King of Peace, you become peace. āBlessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.ā Jesus is also the King of Righteousness. Righteousness is sown in peace. āNow the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.ā When you become one with Jesus in the spirit, āBut he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him,ā you become peace. Many don’t know God as the God of peace. It’s mentioned 5 times in the scriptures. āNow THE GOD OF PEACE be with you all. Amen.ā āAnd THE GOD OF PEACE will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.ā āThe things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and THE GOD OF PEACE will be with you.ā āNow may THE GOD OF PEACE Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.ā āNow may THE GOD OF PEACE who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.ā Are plugged into His peace? Are you proclaiming the gospel of peace? Even the angels were shouting peace when Jesus was introduced into this world. āAnd suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!“
I pray that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened to the peace that you have with God through Jesus. āTherefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.ā Most of the epistles open with peace. So I say to you peace be with you. āPeace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.ā “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, withĀ thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;Ā andĀ THE PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Be blessed, my friends.
