Anything that is on this earth that God created starts in seed form. Plants start in seed form as well as those of the flesh with an egg. Without a seed, nothing on this earth grows. The Kingdom of God grows on this earth from seed form as well. Holy Spirit impregnated the egg of Mary so the word can enter this world in flesh form. The word wants to reproduce after its kind by entering anyone willing to accept it. The seed that is received is holy and needs holy ground to grow. Without holiness, the Kingdom won’t grow.

Matthew 13:23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Hebrews 12:14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord

When a seed is planted in the ground it will grow if the soil is good. A seed doesn’t grow in bad soil. Jesus was explaining this with the parable of the sower. The word of God is spirit and it is life. When the word enters you, who do you think enters? It’s the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is holy and needs holy ground to grow. This is why Jesus died so your sins are removed so the Holy Spirit can live and grow in you. That’s why we are to offer our bodies holy and acceptable to God as a living sacrifice. Many don’t know or are not taught about holiness that without it, you won’t see the Lord.

John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you have been bought for a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Before we can understand the seed, we must understand the soil in which the seed can grow. How can the soil grow if it isn’t about the seed and nourishing it? The word of God can’t grow in the soil of doubt and unbelief. Neither can it grow when the cares of the world or the deceitfulness of riches choke the seed from growing. On good soil, the Holy Spirit can grow in your life when you have holiness in your life.

Romans 11:16 For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, 18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” 20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. 22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. 23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

Colossians 1:21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.
