Did you know that the righteousness of God has been revealed? How many Christians know this? The righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel. If you don’t know this, what gospel are you listening to? Paul writes to the Romans, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” The gospel is the power of God to salvation if you believe that. The power of God is revealed by your sins being washed away by the blood of the Lamb. “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
Today, many Christians don’t believe their sins are washed away by the blood of the Lamb. They still call themselves sinners saved by grace. They have been propagandized to believe that as long as they’re in the flesh, they are sinners. This is the biggest hoax that has plagued the church. Jesus came to save sinners, not to keep them there. “This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that CHRIST JESUS CAME INTO THE WORLD TO SAVE SINNERS, of whom I am chief. However, FOR THIS REASON, I OBTAINED MERCY, that IN ME FIRST JESUS CHRIST MIGHT SHOW ALL LONGSUFFERING, AS A PATTERN TO THOSE WHO ARE GOING TO BELIEVE ON HIM FOR EVERLASTING LIFE.” Jesus’s sacrifice is to remove sin from you, that’s the gospel He paid the debt you can never pay, but do you believe that? If you believe that He paid for your sins, then you will live that, you will live the gospel. Paul told the Romans about the gospel, “For in it THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IS REVEALED from faith to faith; as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Paul continues to tell the Romans, “For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WILL REIGN IN LIFE THROUGH THE ONE, JESUS CHRIST.” Paul told the Corinthians about the gospel, “Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM.” Peter best explains the gospel this way, “For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. For to this, you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”; who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, MIGHT LIVE FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS––by whose stripes you were healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.”
I pray that this revelation of Jesus Christ in you opens the eyes of your understanding. You are one with Jesus in the spirit. “But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” “Let your light so shine before men,” and the fruit of light is righteousness. “For the fruit of the Light is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.” Be blessed, my friends
