Power Of Agreement

Power of agreement is something that is not discussed at any length in Christianity. When you confess that Jesus Christ is Lord from Romans 10:9, you are coming into agreement with Jesus. From then on you are to live by that agreement. It’s no different than with the new covenant. If you agree with it, you will live by it. Here’s the kicker that many don’t tell you. If you don’t live by the agreement, then the agreement is powerless. People tend to wonder why things aren’t happening in their lives. Well, how you live is what you are agreeing to, and giving power to that life.

Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Matthew 15:7 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:These people draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ”

It’s not enough to confess that Jesus is Lord, you must live it. The enemy will come immediately to test you to see if this is true. He will use life’s circumstances to see if you still believe Jesus is Lord. If you set everything aside and focus on all of life’s trials that Jesus is Lord over everything, nothing will be impossible for you. It is that simple, and yet, it’s one of the most difficult things to do. Do you now understand why Jesus mentions that He will send a helper for you because He knows you can’t do this on your own? You must learn and come into agreement with the helper, the Holy Spirit, who will guide you in all truth.

2 Corinthians 3:You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

I hope you understand that Jesus did the basic works here on earth. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, and cure the leper wasn’t the greater works. He left that with us to do so He can be glorified. Sadly many won’t even start with that because of the agreement with what they believe. Can you see how powerful this power of agreement entails? I pray that whoever is reading this, the heart will be touched and come into agreement with the bridegroom, Jesus. Be blessed, my friends.

John 14:12 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

Matthew 10:7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
