Our sufficiency comes to us by grace through Jesus. Are you one who lives by grace through faith? If your faith has saved you, do you live by it? Do you believe that His grace is sufficient for you during weakness? When you are weak, then you are strong in the Lord and the power of His might. You have been saved from the law. Jesus paid the ultimate price for sin being our sacrifice for us. He fulfilled the law by paying the price for sin once and for all. You don’t have to strive against sin. You just have to believe that he (sin) has no power over you. You have dominion over sin because of Jesus.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Your sufficiency comes from God. Are you content with what you have? Does the cares of this world or the deceitfulness of riches choke your faith in Christ? It’s in your weakness when your light has the opportunity to shine the most. We are to live from the strength of the spirit rather than the weakness of the flesh. The flesh is not the real you. The truth is that if you are born of water and spirit, and the spirit of Christ dwells in you, then the truth is you are a spirit being. See yourself separate from the flesh living in the spirit. The laws that were given to Moses can’t come against you when you are in the spirit. There is no law against the spirit.
Romans 8:9Â But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Our goal is to live as one with Jesus in the spirit. Loving God and loving people is of the spirit, not the flesh. Paul wrote “Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.” Let us all grow up together in the spirit being one body in Christ which is the real church. Be blessed, my friends.
1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For in fact the body is not one member but many.
