Let Me introduce you to His Majesty, King Jesus, who is the true King over the earth. He’s not like the kings you see in movies or portrayed in real life. He is a King who is humble, loving, and trustworthy. There will never be another King like Him. Have you ever seen or heard of a king that would lay down his life for his people? Have you ever seen a king that would want you to be equal, being one with him? Now you know there is a difference between Jesus’s Kingship and those of others.
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
In the Kingdom of heaven, there is no taxation as the sons are exempt. There’s no sickness or disease. Now, look around you. Does this earth represent the King? You can see His glory in what He created, but you also see what evil has done here as well. Where do you want to live? There is a very narrow way into the Kingdom and that’s through the King. He wants those who believe Him and live as He did. He came to be our example of how to get into the Kingdom. In Jesus’s day, they called it a sect, but today it’s called the way. The Kingdom only deals with righteousness. Jesus came to remove the debt that we would have had to pay, the debt of sin. Everyone has been born into Adam, his sin. Jesus paid for that sin by removing it. It’s removed through baptism, the baptism of repentance. Then the King baptizes you in the spirit so you can do all the things that He did and even greater. We are then representatives of the King. One passage refers to this as an ambassador. It’s through the King of the peace who has made peace between man and God that we find peace. Through Him, we can do all things so we can represent Him well.
Psalms 45:6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.
Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
I hope this is a befitting representation of My King. Many have tried to skew what Jesus is really like. He is the most amazing King. You should get to know Him better. Be blessed, my friends.
