If only Christians would understand that sin is evil. The apostle John said it this way, “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” Many denominations won’t like this because they teach that Christians are sinners saved by grace. Sadly, what they are confessing is that the sacrifice of Jesus wasn’t enough for them, or they believe they are saved but just waiting for the bus to take them to heaven. Have you ever thought about what this will do for their armor? The enemy is undressing them and making their armor weak and ineffective by a tradition that was made up of men. Moreover, they live from the weakness of their flesh rather than the strength of their spirit. It’s from the spirit that we are strong in the Lord and the power of His might. Also the armor we put on is spiritual, not fleshly because our was isn’t against flesh and blood.

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

In the seven spirits of God that are listed in Isaiah 11, Jesus’s delight is in the spirit of the fear of the Lord. Proverbs teach the fear of the Lord is to hate evil. Sin is evil. When Adam ate from the tree, man now knows good and evil. When Adam sinned it wasn’t good for him. What he did was evil. I’m sorry, but it boggles my mind that people who go to church still call themselves sinners not knowing what they have been saved from. Jesus came to save sinners. My question is if Jesus came to save sinners, and most in the church call themselves sinners saved by grace, what are they saved from? Not from sin as they call themselves sinners. This is a mystery to me. I also still haven’t found a sinner saved by grace in the scriptures yet unless they are putting two scriptures together and making a doctrine out of it. I believe Jehovah’s witnesses do this as well.

Isaiah 11:1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse,
And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. His delight is in the fear of the Lord,
And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes,
Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;

1 timothy 1:12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, 13 although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. 14 And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. 15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. 16 However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.

I hate sin and what it does to people. Sin does steal, kill and destroy. It never brings life and it more abundantly. Many don’t realize that sin is the easy way for your flesh. You won’t have many trials and you will live a comfortable life. When it comes to entering into heaven, you just may hear the words, “I never knew you. Depart from Me you who practice lawlessness.” Many don’t know that sin is lawlessness. I want you to know the truth as the truth sets you free from sin. Be blessed, my friends.

Matthew 7:13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

John 8:31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” 33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” 34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
