Unfortunately, many don’t see the beauty of what God has done. They can see the beauty of nature which He created. Even seeing the beauty in the sky. When we look at each other, we can’t see the most beautiful thing He ever created, our love relationship with Him.
It saddens me to see that many don’t even want this relationship. To this, I blame the church. Something that is the most graceful thing ever created, has been reduced to rules which we are to follow. My Father doesn’t want robots to command. His heart is to love. He proved this by sending His Son to die for the world. Jesus was crucified because He confessed that He is the Son of God. Throughout what Jesus taught, He called Himself the Son of Man. For those who don’t understand, Jesus is referring to Himself from Daniel 7:13. You have to ask yourself, “Why would God go to that extreme by sending His Son to die the most brutal dead ever created by man?” He did this to get back the one He loves, you. If you choose this love relationship, you have to understand the ways of the Kingdom of God to walk in the Kingdom. Jesus talked most about the Kingdom. He wanted His bride to know His ways so she can walk with Him. The bride here is referring to the church. When you are born again, you aren’t part of the church, you are the church. When the church gathers, they celebrate what the bridegroom has done to prepare them for the Kingdom. It’s called, love and good works.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
The bride has to make herself ready for the return of the bridegroom. Baptism is the wedding ceremony. You want this relationship with Jesus. The wedding banquet hasn’t happened yet. Jesus left this earth to prepare a place for His bride, so they can be together forever. John wrote about this relationship in 1 John 1. If you have read 1 John 1, you will notice that fellowship is mentioned 4 times. John was explaining his relationship with Jesus and was inviting everyone to read into this same relationship. Many today don’t understand this relationship, that includes the church. For the love of God, if you open your heart to Him in sincerity, He will come in and in this relationship of the heart with Him, nothing will be impossible for you.
Romans 6:3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.
1 John 1:3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.
1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Imagine if you will, that you are in love with someone from another country. That person asks you to come and be with him/her where he/she is. Would you start looking to see how that place functions? What are the customs? Is there something different than what I am used to? Is how they think about things differently than how I think? If you are truly in love with that person you would change your lifestyle to suit that country that you would be entering. There is no difference with Jesus. If you are truly in love with Him, you would change to suit the Kingdom of Heaven. Are you willing to make that change? Be blessed, my friends.
John 18:36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” 37 Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”
