As you walk out your life here on earth, do you ever wonder if there is more to this life? Is there a greater purpose? Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every matter under heaven. What if there is a greater purpose for your life and you don’t even know it? What is your part to play in this hour?
I am asking a lot of questions because we all want answers to our situation in our lives. We want to know all of life’s truth. One I hear a lot is, “Why do bad things happen to good people.” People tend to forget, it’s not about them. How can anyone complain about their life when they are dead? You are to be dead to this world. That may be a large pill to swallow, but it’s the truth. 1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
There are many doors in this matrix. The doors can lead you to success or even glory. To choose a door must be carefully chosen and perceive what the outcome will be. Everyone will answer for what they have done and chosen. 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. There are very few who will choose the door of a servant. In this door you have everything chosen for you. You are a servant to your Master and you will do all that the Master tells you. You don’t question the Master. All you want to do is please Him. Everything you have belongs to Him. Many won’t choose that door. John 10:7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
This door that Jesus opens is a difficult way. Matthew 7:13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Not very many want to go on the hard path. Paul went on this difficult path. Jesus warned about this path. Acts 9:16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake. Paul suffered through a lot. 2 Corinthians 11:16 I say again, let no one think me a fool. If otherwise, at least receive me as a fool, that I also may boast a little. 17 What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as it were, foolishly, in this confidence of boasting. 18 Seeing that many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast. 19 For you put up with fools gladly, since you yourselves are wise! 20 For you put up with it if one brings you into bondage, if one devours you, if one takes from you, if one exalts himself, if one strikes you on the face. 21 To our shame I say that we were too weak for that! But in whatever anyone is bold—I speak foolishly—I am bold also.22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I. 23 Are they ministers of Christ?—I speak as a fool—I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often. 24 From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; 26 in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; 27 in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness— 28 besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches. 29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to stumble, and I do not burn with indignation? 30 If I must boast, I will boast in the things which concern my [a]infirmity. 31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying. 32 In Damascus the governor, under Aretas the king, was guarding the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desiring to arrest me; 33 but I was let down in a basket through a window in the wall, and escaped from his hands. God will use you in unusual ways if you walk through the door of Jesus. Paul did unusual miracles. Acts 19:11 Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.
While you are walking in this matrix called the world, pay attention to where Jesus is and walk through that door. I hope and pray this blesses you.
