I have heard some in the Christian circles teach about who you are in Christ. I went to learn about this from someone who is considered to be at the forefront of this movement. I did that many years ago. The Lord has taught me something different about this. These people taught who you are in Christ, but that’s not what Jesus taught. Jesus taught us to deny ourselves. “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” You see, it’s never about you or who you are in Christ, but Christ in you. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Once you have the understanding that it’s all about Christ in you, you begin to learn that all the circumstances that come against you are not about you, but who you carry. If the light ever came on to what you have inside you, the enemy is finished. If the light ever came on that nothing can ever separate you from the love of God who is in you, you would live from that love. “As it is written: “For Your sake, we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. FOR I AM PERSUADED that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Paul was fully convinced that what he had, no one can take it away from him. The enemy’s tactic is to convince you that you are separated from God using an old tactic, “Does God love you.” He loves to bring in doubt and unbelief so you don’t get the understanding that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” If people understood what they have, they would live through Christ in them. If people would just get that they are one with Christ in the spirit. “But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” Once this light comes on, you get to share this light and demonstrate this light. It’s never about you. I had to write that again because I don’t want pride to enter your heart. This is what has been hidden from the foundation of the world. “To them, God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Living from the spirit is living in Christ in you. “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” When you realize that your life is hidden in Christ and it’s from Christ you live, nothing is impossible for you. The limits are in your understanding. You have to first understand that Christ is in you. From that understanding, you live.
I pray that your eyes of understanding are enlightened to Christ in you. I pray that you will live through Christ in you, the hope of glory. Be blessed, my friends.
