The goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart, good conscience, and a sincere faith. To become love, we must become one with Jesus. Jesus instructed us for this very thing. If you abide in Him and He abides in you then you are one. It’s from that relationship that we are to live by. It’s not a coincidence that the devil wants you to keep his relationship with you. Trying to convince us that we are sinners saved by grace. What are you confessing out of your mouth? You are a sinner saved by grace or Jesus is Lord. You can’t have both. There is no sin in Jesus, He removes sin. Becoming love, one with Jesus covers a multitude of sins.

1 Timothy 1:5 Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,

To become one with Him, you don’t accuse Him, blame Him, or even find fault with Him. It’s a relationship of trust. If you don’t trust Him, how do you love Him? When you finally come around and trust Him, it’s not a try Me if you like Me kind of trust. You spend time with Him. The church will teach you to do your daily devotional to get to know God. Have you ever read about someone? Did you have a relationship with them? Obviously it’s more than just reading about Him. The more time and effort you put in the relationship, the more you will get out of it. I am not against daily devotionals. A relationship is more than just reading. It’s spending time with the One you love, and sharing that love with others. From experience, the more time you spend with Him, the more at peace you are. Would you like your relationship with Jesus to be so strong that the peace of God that transcends all understanding guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart.

Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

There is no relationship greater than the one you have with Jesus. It’s not a earthly relationship, but an eternal one. Be blessed, my friends.
