This may seem like a very strange topic to blog about, but the Lord showed me this after I read; Proverbs 4:27 Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil. As long as you confess that you are a sinner after you repented and turned away from sin, you are still in the trap of the enemy.
Over and over Jesus told those to go and sin no more. Many people today love sin rather than God. Let me give you an example. I know of a couple who are living together and yet are not married. This may be acceptable in this world, but not God. There is no vow made to God to bless their relationship and they wonder why they have all kinds of problems. This is called fornication. Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. This is the trap. Making you comfortable with your situation which is against what God has said. Is there forgiveness for this? Yes, absolutely! Repent and make things right with God. John 8:10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; GO AND SIN NO MORE.” John 5:7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” 8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath. 10 The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.” 11 He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’ ” 12 Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” 13 But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. 14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. SIN NO MORE, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
The enemy goes around like a roar lion seeking whom he can devour so he can sink his teeth into you. Resist him. Keeping you eyes on Jesus, have made everything right with Him, and nothing will be impossible for you. This is the snare of the devil. To snare your faith away from God (sin separates) so you actually don’t walk in the fullness of the Spirit. Once you are in the fullness of the Spirit, you will fulfill, “As He is, so are we in this world.” Your name would be added to list list. Jesus I know and Paul i know…
